MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Thanks for all your love and support this past year, it's been a busy one for us - from buying and moving into our new house, to celebrating the first birthday of our favorite girl, to another crazy USC and fantasy football season, to paying off our truck (an extra woooo hooo for that!)...it's been a busy year!

Here is to another wonderful year...Cheers to 2011!

We're going to Disneyland! (Well, we WENT to Disneyland)

We took Atiana to Disneyland for the first time last week to enjoy all the beautiful holiday decorations. It was a little chilly but we definitely beat the winter rain storm that has been going on for the last few days.

Thanks to Nina Leticia, Auntie Deanna, and Nana Pat and Grandpa Tony for joining us and being our tour guides and helping us navigate through the park. Atiana had such a great time. There are so many pics to post!!!

Santa Claus is coming to Paramount!

Last Monday the annual Paramount Christmas train came down our block and we got home just in time to get our apples and candy canes from the big man!

Again, Atiana wasn't too thrilled to see Santa, but she loved looking at all the Christmas lights and decorations on the cute train. There was music, so of course she was dancing away!

It was a nice way to get to see some our neighbors but it was pretty cold out there! There were pictures with Santa after but we don't think Atiana would have been too happy about...oh well, maybe next year!

Atiana did NOT like meeting Santa Claus this year. Once again, St. Barnabas in Long Beach had Santa come down just for them, it sure beats standing in a long line at the mall and we get to help the school raise money.

Taking a picture with Santa was definitely not as easy as last year, that's for sure! Even a candy cane wasn't enough to get Ati to warm up to Santa but we did manage to get a good picture! She started to warm up to him a little before we left, but it was too late, her picture had already been taken!

It's our first Christmas in our new house and we were so excited to decorate and introduce Atiana to the holiday spirit.

We got our tree the day after Thanksgiving so we could enjoy the fresh pine smell in our house for as long as possible.

Despite us not putting ornaments on the lower part of the tree, Atiana has STILL managed to pull off as many ornaments as she can get her busy little hands on!

All our decorations are up and now we just need to finish our shopping and do all our wrapping.

Evil Knievel is at it again!

Atiana's latest thing in the bath tub is to pull herself up to stand on the little step on our shower. Its makes mom and dad very nervous, but she loves the thrill! Here she is showing off her shampoo mohawk and new move!

What a ham....and cheeeeeeese!

Atiana is starting to say a few more words here and there, mostly babbling and trying to copy words that we say to her. Her new favorite word to say is "Cheeeeese!" when we are taking a picture of her.

Here she is saying "cheeeeeese" and posing in the brown leather chair that Great Grandma Rosie got her, it was SUPPOSED to be a Christmas present but she couldnt help but give it to her early! Ati enjoys watching her shows while she sits in her chair with a snack and some juice.

For the most part though, she can be found standing on the chair instead of sitting on it and trying to do dangerous Evil Knievel moves like jumping onto the couch off it...what can we say, she is a crazy girl!

Ati hiatus

Sorry everyone that it's been so long since the last post. Hope everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving! We've all been super busy and can't believe how the weeks are flying by!

Here are some recent picstures of our favorite girl at the USC-Notre Dame game! It started to rain half way through the game so we left early, but Atiana sure enjoyed clapping and cheering on the Trojans, even though it wasnt such a favorable outcome :(

Celebrating with Great-Grandpa Tony

Atiana had a blast in Palm Springs this past weekend celebrating Great-Grandpa Tony's 80th birthday! She danced the night away!

Silly girl

Every morning when we leave the house for day care Ati tries to grab every toy, doll, stuffed animal she can get her hands on to take with her in the car. I yelled, "let's go" and this is everything she tried to take with her!

Visit to the pumpkin patch

Last year, when Atiana was just 6 months old we tried to visit the pumpkin patch and get some great pics, but the kid that NEVER napped, was taking a serious nap when we arrived at the pumpkin patch, so we never did get any pics of her last Halloween. But this year with Ati walking and all we were determined to get some great shots!

On Saturday we went to visit the pumpkin patch. Cousin Cruz was supposed to join us but it had been raining all night and morning and he was just getting over a cold, so he couldn't come :(

It was a pretty cool place with pony rides, petting zoo, and a bounce house.

The weather was a little weird so Atiana didn't do any of the activities, but she had a great time checking out the pumpkins and visiting with the animals...from the other side of the fence.

Afterwards we went to visit Nana Jenny & Aunt Sandi since we were "in the neighborhood."

Nickelodeon Storytime Concert

Atiana had a blast dancing around and watching the characters from Nickelodeon's Storytime Live Concert.

The top cartoon characters performed at the show - Kai-lan, Wonderpets, Dora, and the Backyardigans live at the Nokia Theatre on Sunday.


And of course, in true Atiana fashion, she danced around with all the other kids in the walkway and had a lot of fun!
