Ati goes tailgating

Ati went with mom and dad to the game this past weekend and man, was it HOT in L.A.!!!

She had a great time eating good food at a campus tailgate and seeing Traveler run on the field (a lot, thanks to some touchdowns) before we left in the 3rd quarter to get home to brother. They are BOTH going to the next home game in October because it is our annual Time Warner tailgate party.

Halloween clothes...wait, it's not even October yet!

We took pics of Xavier in a Halloween outfit that his sister wore for her first Halloween last week mainly because we thought if we actually waited until October it might not fit! Our little X-man is growing so quickly, who knows what he will fit in for Christmas, and that's kind of sad because we bought a couple of cute things for him to wear last Christmas at the sales...oh well, guess he can wear them for Thanksgiving?

Anyway, here are his pics, along with one of his sister in the same outfit. I found her stats and at 6 months old, Atiana was weighing in just a little over 15 lbs. so baby brother is not that big, but he does in fact weigh more than that at 6 months!

Here's another pair of pajamas that are SO CUTE and ALMOST TOO SMALL!

We will get the official weigh-in of this little guy next Friday at his 6-month checkup, but it's safe to assume that he weighs about 20 lbs.

Happy 1/2 birthday to our baby boy!

Xavier is 6 months old today! He is quickly making his presence known in our house as he gets more "vocal" and tries to get around. Guess he realized he is competing with his sister to see who is the loudest!

Go Broncos!

Even though Peyton Manning almost cost us a fantasy football win this past Monday night, we still root for the Broncos (except for Dad, just a little)!

Win or lose...

We still fight on! We will bounce back after the loss this past Saturday. No matter what, we are Trojans.

These overalls were size 0-3 months but it's been such a hot summer that we felt bad putting them on him...until I found them and realized if he didn't wear them now, he never was. So they are a little short and its nearly 90 degrees, but he went to Robin's in them anyway, good thing it was a little overcast in the morning. They were off shortly after I left him for the day.

Major Hunk

While his sister is off starting school, this guy is just hanging out - in his diaper! He is our major hunk and we love his chubby cheeks and legs.

Ati's first official day of preschool

Even though Atiana started her new preschool over the summer, her first "official" day was September 5th. There were some old faces but also a lot of new ones - in her class and at the school. Ati loves her school and really likes her teacher, Ms. Lisa.

She knows her ABCs, can count to 20 and knows her colors pretty well. But, she also enjoys going to Robin's with her brother, so she gets the best of both worlds.

Fight On Fridays

We are going into week 3 of college football season and can't wait to see USC get some redemption against Stanford this weekend. Ati is rooting for Matt Barkley with her #7 jersey on.

As a family we wear our USC gear on Fridays to work, school, and day care to show our support and get ready for a win on Saturday. Hopefully you have your gear on today too!

Sorry we've been MIA lately!

Sorry that we have not posted in awhile. Things have been a little crazy for our house - mom is back to work, both kids got sick, USC FOOTBALL started, and the NFL season is under way!!! 

Our house has been non-stop for the past few weeks. We completely forgot to post these 5 month old pics of our little man! He is growing like a weed (definitely in 6-9 month clothes and even some 12 month outfits!!!). His babysitter says he is getting more and more mobile every day and that he may start crawling soon (Oh nooooooooo! I don't think our house is ready for that - especially Ati, since Xavier got into her coloring books a few days ago and she was NOT happy!).

Xavier and Atiana are really building a great brother-sister relationship. We see their sibling dynamic developing and it's so cute to see and hear them interacting in the car and at home after a busy day. Ati sure can get her brother to laugh and he absolutely loves to watch her dance and jump around. He is also really enjoying some of her favorite shows like Yo Gabba Gabba and Jack's Big Music Show on Nick Jr. They enjoy spending their mornings watching their shows while mom and dad get ready for work.

It's STILL summer!!!

When we posted a few weeks ago that it was HOT and we hoped we only had a few more weeks of this heat, we didn't think it would STILL be so HOT! Man, we can't wait for some relief! 

Thankfully October is right around the corner so maybe then we will start to get some nice, fall weather. Until then, Ati has her shades on! Have a great week everyone!
