Yo Gabba Gabba Live

On Friday we went to Yo Gabba Gabba with our friends, the Huacujas - Jesus, Nadine, Sophie, Matthew and Sydney.

We have been waiting for months to go to this show, literally! We bought the tickets back in July and it felt like it was light years away. But sure enough, time flew by and before we knew it, it was Thanksgiving!

Ati had such an amazing time dancing with her friends, it was worth the wait!!!

Xavier: 8 months old

This is about a week overdue, but better late than never.

Xavier's 8 month stats:
  • 18 lbs. 14 oz.
  • 27.5 inches long
  • Still has just 2 teeth
  • Quickly crawling everywhere
  • Pulling himself up and cruising furniture
  • Says "Dada"
  • Tries to wave bye-bye
  • Favorite snack: Gerber puffs and apple wheels
  • Had two ear infections this past month :(

Happy 8 months X!

Visiting Nana Jenny

We had an extra day off for the Thanksgiving break and made our way to West LA to visit Nana Jenny. We went for a nice breakfast at Coco's and back home for a little visit.

We love Nany Jenny!

Thanksgiving

We have so much to be thankful for each day but its days like Thanksgiving that allow us to reflect on the many blessings we have - family, health, jobs, warm beds, etc.

We are grateful for everything - good or bad - that we have received in 2012, but most importantly for our healthy baby boy! After Atiana we didn't know what to expect but Xavier was born healthy and everything was good with mom, and for that, we couldn't be more thankful.

As the long weekend winds down we just wanted to thank everyone for another great year. We look forward to sharing the holiday season with our TWO babies and can't wait to see everyone!

Have a great week!

Xavier and Cousin Sophia

It was a First Thanksgiving for these two.

Xavier (8 mths) and Sophia (3 mths) are 5 months apart exactly. Xavier is older like his mama is 5 months older than Sophia's uncle Nick.

We have a feeling these two will be a lot like Jackie and Nick. That would mean one is supposed to be bossy (Jackie) and one is supposed to think he's in charge of everyone and everything (Nick).

No matter what, above everything, we hope they are close and love each other!

More Thanksgiving school pics

Taken by GaGa.

We are thankful GaGa could fill in for us today at Ati's school for Thanksgiving. Ati was happy to have her there to watch her eat yummy food.

Wishing everyone a happy Thanksgiving. We are grateful for each and every one of you. Here's to a happy, healthy and merry holiday season!!!

Atiana says Happy Thanksgiving!

She made a cool hat at school and celebrated with a delicious lunch with her classmates. Luckily GaGa was able to make it and be there for the special meal.

Thanksgiving artwork

Ati has been working hard on some pretty amazing Thanksgiving crafts. Here are pictures of items she has been bringing home from Robin's and school.

Ati's Show 'n Tell presentation

Last week Ati was chosen to be the 'Pawtastic Kid of the Week' at school. Part of her responsibilities was to do a presentation board on her family. We worked on her board a couple of nights, and though there were a lot of creative differences, we still managed to get the job done! Ati was very particular on where she wanted certain pictures, what stickers she wanted to use, and how she wanted things cut. Needless to say, mom and dad got a quick glimpse of what our future holds on working on school projects - STRESS!

In addition to her poster board, she was asked to fill a basket with items from home that she would like to show the class. We let her take whatever she wanted, though what she decided to take was so far from what we thought she'd take. But we let her do what she wanted. Her board came out great and she was excited to share it with her class. We just wish we could have seen her presentation so we could have shared it here. We are sure she did great!

Here she is with her board. It's hanging proudly in her room for all to see. Next time you come visit, be sure to check it out.

Happy birthday, Nina Leti!

More than a week late, but last Saturday we helped Nina Leti celebrate her birthday at the the USC/Arizona State game. Ati and Nina had a good time tailgating, eating cupcakes, and Nina even took Ati to see Traveler right before the game. They had a great time together!

Look who's standing!

Xavier has accomplished pulling himself up...on everything!!!

We even found him trying to put his leg up on the rail of his crib. We are just hoping that he slows down a bit! He's supposed to still be a baby!!!!

Tailgating for homecoming

Here is Ati & mom at the Coliseum last Saturday for homecoming. Mom & Dad celebrated their 10 year reunion.
