March of Dimes 2013

Thanks to everyone who walked, donated, shared the link to TEAM ATIANA. We raised $540 this year. It was under what we wanted, but we will improve on it next year!

Happy 4th Birthday Atiana!

Four years has passed and it's hard to believe. For four years we have been parents, four years we have had this amazing girl in our lives, and four years we have been updating this blog and sharing pictures, stories and memories with friends and family.

It is truly a happy day because had you asked me if I ever thought I could get out of the dark cloud I was in when we had Ati and she spent the longest six weeks in the NICU at Cedars-Sinai, really, I would not have thought we'd be here. Home. Happy. Healthy. And with a SECOND BABY??!? No way! But we are. And life is not just good, it's GREAT!

Happy birthday to our beautiful, smart, funny girl. She makes the sun shine brighter each day. We love her up to the moon...AND BACK!!!

Our new car!

We got a new SUV this past weekend. We thought the kids would be sad, after all that was the only car they knew - the car they both came home from the hospital in, but nope, they love the new one!!!

Ati likes that it has "a front row, middle row, and a back row for more people to sit!"

13 months old

It's weird that Xavier is over 1 now, which means we don't really have to track his monthly growth and development as much on here, but I got such great pics of him the other day on the way out the door that I thought I'd share them here. He looks like such a grown boy with his sweatshirt and boots.

It was bath night and someone thought he could escape it...no such luck! He was caught shortly after these pics were taken.

Food truck visit

We went to a food truck stop by our house for dinner and Ati was on board to "eat all her food" just so she could get an ice cream before we left.

Xavier saw it and immediately threw a fit, he was not going to miss out! Ati is such a good big sister, she quickly gave him a taste AFTER she tried it first, of course!

Happy anniversary to our mom & dad!

Yesterday was our mom & dad's wedding anniversary and we don't really know what that means but we got to eat ice cream cake!!!

Xavier enjoyed this cake much more than he did his birthday cake - guess he knows what it's all about now!

Meanwhile, Ati was acting silly! Guess it was the sugar kicking in.
