Happy 2nd birthday Xavier!

Can't believe this guy is TWO YEARS OLD! Where did the time go???

He's happy, healthy, and oh, so cute! Everyday he does something funny...and annoying, but he's a boy, our boy, and we love him to the moon and back!

Happy birthday to our brother, poopy pants (Ati's special name for him), X, Zay Zay, Xman, (and all his other nicknames!), this house just wouldn't be a home without you!

Broncos Atiana

I took some pictures of Ati in her Broncos shirt on Super Bowl Sunday while Xavier was napping and Dad was at work. We were so excited for the game with our snacks and cupcakes. Yet, despite the horrible outcome of that game, I am barely getting over the loss to post them.

It doesn't matter what she is wearing, she is BEAUTIFUL!

Writing out Valentine's Day cards

Ati has been practicing writing her name and what better way to get even more practice? Write out Valentine's cards! Here she is writing out 16 cards for her classmates. They are scratch 'n sniff cards.

Tomorrow night we will assemble our goodie bags for her classmates.

We're officially best friends!

Atiana and her best friend Stella at Farrell's where they officially became best friends!

We met up with Stella and her family to get to know each other and allow the girls to hang out a little outside of school, especially since they are in different classes.

Coincidentally, Stella's last name is Aguilar! Mom's maiden name. So our families - the Avilas and Aguilars - had a great time.

Sunday Funday at Furman Park

The kids accompanied me to the park while I took some pictures of a friend. They can never escape me taking pictures of them though, and I was able to capture them on the slide and enjoying the playground.

We are all getting a fresh start today - let's make 2014 a great one!

The kids were not really cooperating for pictures and Xavier spent the majority of picture time being afraid of the noisemakers and refusing to wear his hat.
