Happy St. Patty's Day

Working on St Patty's day crafts at daycare

Xavier using his hands to make the green part of the rainbow at Marla's yesterday. He also helped build a leprechaun trap but we don't know if the kids were able to catch one! Guess he will find out Friday.

Softball pics

Ati has her own personal photographer out there on the field at each game.

Here are some pics from opening day and more pics to come!

Ati as catcher

Ati's coach put her in as catcher, a position she has never even practiced at, but she did great! She does prefer to be the pitcher, but who knows, maybe she could eventually develop into a good catcher.

Pics and video below:

Ati knows how to hula hoop - wait, what???

Much to Dad's surprise, we found out Ati knows how to hula hoop. Bobby took this video of her and we couldn't believe how good she is!

Check out her moves:

Fun at Progress Park

During the weekends we have been visiting our local park to get in some practice time on the field. We always have to bribe Xavier with playground time IF/WHEN he helps shag balls - which NEVER works. He would rather just lay on the bench in the dugout (I'll take some pics of that next time!).

After a hard practice session, and before the rain, here are some videos of the kids having fun:

Videos of Ati at-bat for her second game

Ati did so good for her first night game. She was 2-for-2.

Here are videos of both of her at-bats:

Atiana is officially a softball player!

Atiana is playing 6U softball for Downey Ponytails, below is her schedule for the season.

All games are played at Independence Park in Downey. The park is located behind the Skate Park on Bellflower Blvd near the intersection of Imperial Hwy.

Address: 12334 Bellflower Blvd, Downey, CA 90242

We suggest parking near the skate park and walking on the South path behind the tennis courts. Her team plays on Field 4 which is the first field you walk near when walking from that side of the park.

You can always call one of us if you are planning to attend so we can find you!
BYOC - BRING YOUR OWN CHAIR!!!

Hope to see some of you out there at her games!

Urgent care visit last week

Yesterday was finally the end to a mysterious nearly two weeks of high fevers. Even the doctor didn't know what was causing ONLY high fevers in the kids. Everyone is healthy, as of today, and back at school, work, and day care!

This pic was taken last Thursday when we took both kids in to urgent care.
