Atiana is doing really well with her bottle feeds. She gets one bottle a shift and has been gaining endurance and doing a little more each day. Whatever she doesn't drink from the bottle she gets fed through her tube, but she has taken her full feeding twice so far. She does really well with her feeds when she is well rested and alert. On Monday, as nervous as she was, Mom got to feed her for the first time after watching her nurses and OT feed her last week. Atiana is a very good burper! A few of the nurses were shocked that such loud burps could come out of such a tiny body.
