Atiana's Halloween Parade

Today was Atiana's school parade. It seems like she had a blast!

Mom was able to take a long lunch and pick up Grandma Rosie to go with her to see Ati in her costume with all her friends. We got their a little early and were able to hear Ati and her class sing songs. She looked so happy to have us there!

Hopefully she took a nice, long nap to get ready for trick-or-treating tonight!

Xavier's Halloween

Xavier was off at day care by himself today for Halloween festivities.

Splish, Splash, Xavier takes a bath

Xavier loves bath time, especially now that he doesn't have to be confined to his little tub. He loves when his sister gets in and lets him play with all her letters and toys. But really, his favorite thing is to just splash around. He gets a big kick out of hitting the water with his hands!

Last night we set out to take pics of Xavier for his first Halloween IN a pumpkin, not around them like his sister's pictures were taken. In 15 years he is really going to hate us for this, but for the time being, we don't care! He is so happy!

Gearing up for Christmas cheer

It's not even Halloween yet all the stores have their Christmas decorations out. We went to Home Depot to pick out a pumpkin and couldn't help but walk down the Christmas aisles just to see what they had. Xavier's eyes lit up! He couldn't get enough off all the lights.

Time Warner Tailgate 2012

This past weekend was the annual Time Warner tailgate. Mom had to work so dad was on his own, well, not on his own because luckily cousin Miguel was there to help!

Xavier was just coming off an ear infection and was not feeling his best, but Ati was ecstatic to be a part of the party. She had a good time eating great food and meeting all her mom's co-workers. Xavier got a ton of attention from everyone and even started getting a little shy from all of it!

We got a chance to take a family pic in the photo booth and even meet Rodney Peete. It was a big win for USC and pretty cool to see some records get broken that day! FIGHT ON!

7 Months old!

Xavier is 7 months old! :'(
Again, time is going by too quickly! Xavier has really had a crazy month in that he is learning so much every day.

Here are some of his 7 month stats:

• 18 lbs. 7 oz.
• 26 inches long
• 2 teeth
• Crawling on knees
• Trying to pull himself up
• Onto stage 2 baby food and some table food
• Likes playing peek-a-boo
• Favorite show: Jack's Big Music Show on Nick Jr.

We took the kids to JCPenney to have some fall pictures taken. They were in a great mood and we got some good shots.

Pumpkin Patch

You know you live in Los Angeles when you go to the pumpkin patch, less than 1 mile from the beach, and it's still 90 degrees! We visited Pa's Pumpkin Patch in Long Beach for an afternoon of fun. It was pretty difficult to get past the humid weather, but Ati had a great time on the rides and Xavier had a good time - well, just staring at everything.

Picture day at school

It was picture day at school and Ati wanted to wear her hair up and not down she said. She also was OK with not wearing a signature bow in her hair, which I love, but I did what she wanted.
